I purchased the Sulky, then made a stop at my repair shop for bobbins. After speaking with my repair woman, I decided to abandon my idea for now. It's really not meant for a child's quilt, for sure.
I started ditch quilting and that wasn't going terribly well, either. Bad sewing mojo, today.
I ended up hand tying the blocks, and sewed a 1/4" inside of the outside border, for stabilization.
It looks sweet and 'old school', and will be a perfect with a stuffed Minnie Mouse, (I hope).
The binding is on, I just have to hand tack it down, launder, light press, and wrap it up with Minnie!
