I also usually use warm and natural or warm and white and thinking that a thin loft is what patterns use also. I was just thinking maybe I could get a jump on things and cut the strips ahead of time. Then, when the batting arrives it will be zoom, zoom, zoom with sandwiching, quilting, and binding. Waiting probably is a good idea. Thank you for your reply.
