Just completed a Yellow Brick Road quilt top using black, grey, cream and white. Modern, made from fat quarters - you could cut your yardage into fat quartersand have all kinds of fun. I posted a picture.

What about cutting into strips and making a jelly roll or where you put three strips together sew and cut as long as it is wide. Then you alternate the blocks to make your quilt. Jenny did a tutorial on this.
