    Just completed a Yellow Brick Road quilt top using black, grey, cream and white. Modern, made from fat quarters - you could cut your yardage into fat quarters and have all kinds of fun. I posted a picture.

    What about cutting into strips and making a jelly roll or where you put three strips together sew and cut as long as it is wide. Then you alternate the blocks to make your quilt. Jenny did a tutorial on this.

    That one is a king after borders I made it for my best friend. I cut the fabric in 4 3/4 strips and sewed them together then cut them again into rows ... The squares come out 4.5 when it's done,
