    Default Sweatshirt Jacket

    Was wondering if anyone has a really simple pattern or tutorial on making a quilted jacket from a sweatshirt? I think this might be a great idea for my quilting ladies as its so cold in the classroom in the winter I teach in. Thanks all.

    I made a quilted jacket from this pattern, uses sweatshirt pieces for a pattern and batting.

    Thank you all for your help. I will take a look at those patterns and see which I like. Of course today we all bundled up for class and it was HOT in there...

    Check Nancy's Notions. She had a couple of books.
    I have a pattern that goes the other way. You make a small quilt using flannel for batting, lay out a sweatshirt pattern and sew it. I have 2 quilted and one embroidered. You can use ribbing for cuffs, neck and waist.
