So I'll go bankrupt trying to buy the HV branded feet for my Sapphire 835. I'm interested in picking up a couple of different feet and the generic ones seem to cost about 1/6 the money of the name brand. After a year of using a 1/4" piecing foot without a guide I'd like to try one with the guide to see if I like it any better.

I found these two but I'm not even sure if either will fit my machine or what the difference (besides minor cosmetic differences) are between them.

I checked and the feet off my "Brother" machine seem to snap onto the HV and look as if they'd work okay but before I ordered anything I thought I'd ask here.

Has anyone had success with generic feet on an HV machine? I just can't see spending $30 or more per foot for a little hunk of polished metal or plastic.
