On mug rugs and small quilts and runners and the bereavement quilts I bring the backing to the front for binding. Very neat and flat method.

Well, that is what I wanted to do, but didn't have enough fabric. I'm going to work on a couple of little quilts today, so I hope to have a large enough backing to bring the binding forward....

As I told Iris Girl, this us what in thought I might do, but didn't have enough extra Fabric.... Double gold good flannel is just too thick.

If you catch it before the "edit" time expires you can go to advanced settings and fix the title. I have done that a couple of times.

If you want to try the self binding, do it on a mug rug first so you can comfortable before your bigger projects. The first time I tried it was on a quilt and I got nervous. Now it's easy peasy:)

I just had to comment to say I enjoyed the giggles....

Dingle Fold Binding, double good binding, single gold binding.

I'm really not certain how to make single food.

Wondered what in the world we were 'talking' about; had a good chuckle, and learned about single fold binding for mug rugs. A very productive - and entertaining post :) Thank you :)
