Flannel
Hiiiiii
I want to make a baby quilt using flannel for the squares and cotton for the sashing and borders. But, I've heard that flannel and cotton don't work well together because the flannel stretches maybe...... not sure the reason. Do you have experience you can share with me.
Thanks and hugggs

Re: Flannel
I've used flannel on the back of cotton quilts without problem. i've never mixed them in the top though. I think your mainn concern would be that they might shrink at a different rate. If you prewashed all fabrics that should solve the problem.

Re: Flannel
I agree - as long as you wash them first, it should be fine.

Re: Flannel
Prewash, yes, unless you are using pre cuts?
