    Default Coin Quilt

I am wanting to make a queen size stacking coin quilt for my niece's graduation. Does anybody know how many jelly rolls it will take? I'm thinking maybe 2 with some extra fabric for sashing and borders. Any ideas?

    Hi there Teresa....

I just looked in my book, "Jelly Roll Quilts" and the coin quilt in there uses 1 jelly roll and 2 yards for border and sashings. The finished size is 66 x 69. If a queen quilt is 80 x 80.... I think two jelly rolls would be plenty..... (plus the yardage).. Good luck and please let us see your finished quilt? i'm sure it will be lovely.

Thanks Mia - is that the book by Pam and Nicky Lintott? I've been wanting a copy of it.
