Straight stitch, zigzag stitch, adjustable stitch length and width, reverse, drop down feed dogs, one step button hole, and that is pretty much what I use on a regular basis. I have the overcast stitch that makes the applique look cute. But I could get by with just the zigzag/satin stitch on that.
