    Default Twice the Charm

    MSQC has "Lovely" Twice the Charm roll..It's 30 5.5 x 22 pieces. Is there a quilt pattern using a Twice the Charm roll? I love this fabric but I'm not a "stasher" and need a pattern before I buy the fabric..

    No quilt pattern that I know of, but when I get them I cut them into 5.5" charms and use them that way.

    I requested one but so far, nothing has shown up. I have several of these and want to use them with the least amount of waste.

    I've been thinking about the same thing. What to do, what to do......here's a couple of examples I'm been thinking about that would lend itself to this size and of course I guess any charm pack patterns would work.

    FITF: rectangle squared ? a quilt block tutorial | Film in the Fridge is the first image and the second you can look up the quilt pattern, but I think both of these would work nicely.

    I'm glad I'm not the only one that don't really know what to do with it...I'm not good at figuring out what or how much fabric I would need to go with it so I guess I will pass on buying Twice the Charm until there is a pattern. Thanks for all the comments..

    How about a 3D Shadow Box? Add a black or dark grey honey bun and it should whip up fast. Scroll down to see a shadow box quilt.Barb's Cats and Quilts: September 2011

    I have cut them into 5.5 inch squares - and then you can use any pattern that calls for a charm pack - it will just be a smidge bigger!

    I have one and thought about cutting some in half and then joining them in a brick pattern. Not real creative, but there would be no waste.

    Better explanation - use the half pieces at the end of every other row so that the larger pieces are staggered like bricks.
