Default Table Topper Project from Snow Flower Design Roll Part 2

I have a question regarding this project. What is the amount of fabric used for the white material that the trees are sewn into? I have watched the video several times seeing if I missed the amount. Is this something I should know automatically? I am very new to quilting, not sewing. Thank you for your help.

Sorry I didn't make myself very clear. I'll get the hang of this yet. The is a video tutorial about how to make a Christmas table runner and my heading is the name of it. It is part two. Instructions are great except for the amount of white material to use to sew the triangle trees into. I did get another answer that I am going with. Thanks for all your help.

Suzie, welcome to the forum. I don't know the answer to your question, but for a quick response I'd call the company. They are great at answering questions over the phone and they have a 1-800 number: Call (888)-571-1122

Okay I did it the scientific way and paused and counted the grid. The white is 20'' wide to start. I don't think the length matters because it will be cut off later. So It will end up 15'' wide after you flip the white panels around.

She started with a 12'' wide tree at the bottom, so 4'' on each of that for the white. I think she said in the beginning it was a wing it project. You can do it pretty much anyway you decide. I hope I helped and forgot to say Welcome

Thank you for your help. I really liked the table runner. I just got overly anxious to start it. Should have taken my time to figure that out myself. Thanks again for the help and the Welcome. I'll be back.

Don't listen to Lorie. She likes singing frogs . . . oh, and chickens.

Sandy is so sweet to point out all my animal intricacies. I have another one to add. One of my cat's used a brand new package of bathroom tissue paper last night as a scratching post. How do I ask them to pay for the damage?

Oh and the tree is 10 jelly rolls tall.

Oops strips. that would be a tall tree. lol
