I struggle with one main thing as I make quilts, color ways. We're a large family and the boys out number the girls. Most quilts I make are for the kids and house. I like having quilts to grab for the couch. I'm looking to do a quilt now and I don't want it to be girly. What do you choose when you want something in the in between girly and boyish. I thought patriotic? Any ideas? What fabric do you choose? Although my boys and DH will use the pink and purple quilts I have on the rack I thought this was a good oppritunity to make something in the middle. For this I will need 15 different fat quarters cut into 2 1/2 inch squares. Variety is good. Thanks in advance!
