I have only used Sullivan's and have been real happy with it.

Re: best spray adhesive
Hi
I have only tried one kinde. 505 basting spray and all i can say is that i can´t live without it.
God, Grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change,
The stash to make a quilt to help me cope,
A quilt to give to comfort those I love in times of hurt, fear and uncertainty.
And the courage to keep on sewing when life itself seems held together by a single thread of hope.

I also vote for 505 Spray and Fix. I have just purchased some Hobbs Fusible cotton batting though and am anxious to try it out on a future project.

Re: best spray adhesive
I use 505 as well.
Linda, let me know how the fusible batting does. I was looking for some at the store and all they had was polyester and I'm not using that.

Re: best spray adhesive
I have only used Dritz (because that's all they had in Joanns). After 9 quilts there is a little left in 1 can, and I've got 2. I tend to overspray and need to remind myself not to do this! I love spray basting and hope whatever you pick, work great for you. I've read great posts about the 505!
What ever you pick please remember to open a window, or Better - go outdoors and spray this. While they tend to not have horrible smells, they are an aersol (sorry about my spelling) and with my allergies I've noticed it's best used outdoors.
Yes Linda, I nabbed some on sale but haven't used it yet either. Looking forward to hearing how you like it, how it works!

Re: best spray adhesive
I have used Spray n Baste for my embroidery machine for 4 yrs. I just started quilting and use it for that as well. It is $14.99 a can at JoAnn's and I never buy it without a 40 or 50% coupon. I never have any problems with it and love it.

Re: best spray adhesive
I use the 505 too but it comes out of the can wierd. I shake it an it comes out spitting and web like. Not a fine spray. It's a new can too.
