    heres a picture of my thingy i use for feeding seams etc under the presser foot...cant remember the real name of it and ive thrown out the packaging, but got it at my local sewing shop...having been a dressmaker for years i was used to using a tailors awl, but the two prongs on this works way better...even the handle is anodised metal...it wasnt expensive
