Cats Claw : does anyone use one besides me

Was just wondering if anyone else used this cats claw besides me. I seen it many years ago but would not pay the price so hubby made me a couple (in case I lose or misplace one) out of a metal thumb pick and a darning needle. I first used it when I was doing heirloom sewing to keep the gathers even as they went under the foot, but now use it to keep the seams going the right way as they go under the foot.

1st time I've seen one, I just use the tip of my seam ripper--works just as well.

I use a cuticle stick but I like the idea of having something attached to your finger. Cool idea.
