I cooked today. I made a quilt sandwich
I don't use a cat's claw, but I have a Purple Thang and use it the same way as your claw.
Claire and Karen - I am off to google porcupines. I think the only one I ever saw was in Texas or New Mexico. Interesting creatures - but I still want a cat's claw. Think it is wonderful to fit on the finger.
Be warned. I am BORED.
This could be dangerous.
When you get cold just go stand in the corner.
They are usually 90 degrees.
A giraffe's coffee would be cold by the time it reached the bottom of his throat.
Ever think about that? No? You only think about yourself??
That contraption is also called a "trolley needle" I've used one in heirloom sewing. There was a lady at a quilt expo doing a form of turn needle applique with it. Rather interesting.
heres a picture of my thingy i use for feeding seams etc under the presser foot...cant remember the real name of it and ive thrown out the packaging, but got it at my local sewing shop...having been a dressmaker for years i was used to using a tailors awl, but the two prongs on this works way better...even the handle is anodised metal...it wasnt expensive
cheers, pami
I never saw a tool like this, but it is a good idea, thanks for posting it

Interesting tool! I've never seen this one before! I'd be afraid I'd forget it was on there and stab myself. Go to scratch my eye or something! Looks dangerous!

I'm with Rebecca - the possibility of poking my eye is too great. I'd really have to quit the wine for sure and that's not going to happen so I'll stick with the purple thang. Great of DH to make them for you though. Kudos to the man!
Definitiely dangerous - I'd poke my eye out with it that's for sure

I use an orange stick - the wooden cuticle thingee. It's beveled on 1 end and pointy on the other end. I've seen the cat's claw when I used to do more counted cross stitch. It is used to help lay the embroidery floss flat/untwisted on the fabric.
