This morning I was using my wooden tool to open the seams of HSTs. The fabric noticeably stretched the block out of shape and was driving me crazy. Then, just because it was in the way, I opened a few on a small Olfa cutting mat -- NO STRETCHING!!! It was almost as if the mat was gripping the fabric. I am a happy gal and thought I'd share.
