question about triangles
My question is if my triangles are to be 2 7/8 how big should I cut my Square to get two 2 7/8 triangles.

I hope this copies okay. GOOD LUCK! I'd shoot for bigger than what you need, then squaring off to finished size.
I really need to get off the exclamation point.

Go for 3" and square up to 2 & 7/8.

? Do you mean 2 7/8 on the diagonal? 5 3/8 square will get you 4 of those. Otherwise if you mean 2 7/8 on a side then 3 "
