    Default Color variations

When doing a quilt that has shading into another color, would you do the pink before the red or in between the red and orange?? I have a deep dark burgundy red and then an orange and yellow, green, blue, etc. just not sure where my pink would fit in. Also what about black brown and whites??

I would say before the red, like in between the burgundy and red.

I like that. It's not a traditional "rainbow". I may do something like that instead....

I'll take a picture of the fabrics I bought and post it so you can see them. I know that always helps.... I'm thinking starting at the top and shading down, strips of solids intermingled with my patterned pieces.

Okay, here's what I bought, they all have flowers on them. Tell me what you think, what I need to rearrange, etc. I am open to any suggestion.

I think we forgot to ask what pattern you were thinking about. That will help us to help.
