I have had a diamond template for 10 yrs. I bought it to do a pillow for my old living room and went another way. I have been thinking of doing a medallion quilt when I have more experience.

I looked for the diamond template, can't find one. Is it the wedge? Ran across this in the Moda Bake Shops looking for inspiration and thought of this thread. But now that I've reread this, maybe I've got the whole thing wrong!

And here's another play on a big star, looks like a diamond could be used.

If you google "Lone Star Quilt" pictures come up that you can make with that template.
I have a pattern to make it with Rotary cut strips. I made it one. Once was enough. LOL.
I bought my diamond acrylic template ruler thingy (see how new I am) at Walmart years ago.

I would google search 'diamond pattern quilts' and see what you come up with.

I have a book that is full of diamond blocks, 55 of them. The book comes with full-sized paper templates for you to compare your diamond ruler to.
I really like her books and I have been very happy with the results of using her patterns and templates.
