Need Ideas
I bought two fabric sets last year and I have been brainstorming and need some ideas.
I was thinking D9P for the pastel one. It's called Porcellina. One of the fabrics is a very big print so I think border because I really don't want to lose the print. Im not a fan of the scrappy D9P quilts, I have to control patterns I like the ones that look like butterflies all over. Open to suggestions
The second set the colors are so close I was thinking trip around the world. The fabric is buttons and blooms by Red rooster. What do you think.
Thanks so much for taking the time to help me!

Re: Need Ideas
I love both of these sets!! I agree in the pastels there are 3 with only maybe dots on them that would make a good DP9 patch, leave the other lovely prints for borders.
I really like the owl print in the other set.. I would hold that to the side too for borders so you don't chop off an Owl Head hahaha
Ohhh either one of these would make the new tut -- *brain freeze* but it has borders around the blocks... something Garden starts with a P *oh dear*
someone will come along with a brain cell still left!!!

Re: Need Ideas
What about doing the double slice layer cake with one of them? Just a suggestion...and I won't be hurt if you choose something else!
Very pretty fabrics!

Re: Need Ideas
YES! Phoebe's Garden thank you -- I like how the borders on that are on top and can highlight any fabric you want.

Re: Need Ideas
I immediately thought of Phoebe's Garden also. Whatever you choose I love both sets of fabric.
