Yes, it does say Poly covered Poly. I get the 500 yd spools at either Joann's or Hancock Fabrics whenever it is 50% off or I will use a 50% off coupon so it is about $1.50 - $2.00 spool. I stock up on it and it is on sale frequently. http://www.joann.com/coats-clark-dua...ds/xprd840929/

I have never used any of the other threads mentioned in this post but this thread is something that I can pick up locally, I can actually take my fabrics into match the color and there is no shipping charge. It may not be as cheap as the other threads but the benefits that I just listed make it worth it to me. I come from a long line of C & C users and I guess I don't want to break tradition!
