Default Need a hanging caddy thingy....?

I want to make one of those little caddy thingys that you have buy the machine and it hangs down the edge of your table to hold scissors and things that you use constantly, but need them off the table. I haven't a clue what they are called, so I can't do a search. Anyone know what I am talking about and if so, do you have a link to a pattern or at least a picture of one? Thanks!

Thanks Iris...That is kind of what I am looking for, wasn't thinking of one so large, but wouldn't it sitting on the fabric base make the machine slide all the time?

the weight of the machine usually keeps it from sliding but if you are sewing on a slick surface you can back it with that non slip stuff for kids pj feet

Ah. Always a solution! I have a regular style 5' banquet table. Some things slide, others don't. I am limited space so FMQ'ing..this would totally be in the way when I do that. I am not that great at it yet and haven't figured out all the tricks of that trade!

Any suggestions on how to make this so it sits to the end of the machine instead of right in front? I guess the issue would be something to hold it down...in this case the machine. but to the end of the machine...what would hold it to the table. What I am trying to do is have on "basket" for the spool threads and feet I use for the quilt I am working on. I change from cotton to poly threads and color of threads etc and to hold the bobbins I have wound for that quilt. My machine is annoying in that to wind a bobbin, you have to unthread the whole machine, wind the bobbin and then rethread the whole machine! So I wind several of the colors I am using so I dont' have to unthread the machine so often.
I Dont' need the caddy "right there in front" but to the side is better and then have one just at the end of the machine to drop the little scissors in I use for clipping threads.

I'd be interested in this also...the one in the tute looks good but it would be in the way for me...I'm a little "rounder" than I should be so I could see this getting on my nerves. But I like the idea as I have a mess of stuff on my table that I am constantly knocking off.
