I just got my June Tailor shape ruler. I watched the video and am still messing up. Will someone tell me what I am doing wrong ? I cut my material and it came out short of what I wanted. Sorry had lots of issues to deal with this week so not thinking that straight, Trying to cut 2 1/2" strips and ended way short.

Help.
