Need some backing suggestions

What color backing would you use? I originally planned to use the same batik as my border, but don't have enough fabric and cannot remember the brand. So far, haven't been able to find it online. Now, I can't decide what color to use.
This pattern is called "Indian Trails" from the book "Fabulous Quilts from Favorite Patterns" from Australian Patchwork & Quilting Magazine.

Well thankfully it's the back, so you can use any colour you like
I think the sashing colour would look beautiful, however I know a lot of people are iffy on using light colours for fear of stains and such. You could also use a colour that comes close to your border. There are so many colours mixed in that almost anything would work. Beautiful quilt!!

Wow wow wow! That is a fantastic quilt! I think any backing you choose will be awesome since you obviously have great taste and a lot of talent! Show us the finished quilt when it's all done. I for one really want to see it! Welcome to the forum, too!

I love wide backings, and I have one that would be perfect. MSQC carries some nice marbles. Also fabricdepot.com has a good selection.. The quilt is just beautiful!

Gorgeous quilt top! Jean mentioned a couple places for wide backing and I'll mention a couple more.
www.fabric.com has wide fabric and free shipping if you send over $35.00
www.backsidefabrics.com has a really nice selection as the wide backing is all they sell. A lot of batiks and watercolor types as well as some more traditional.

You could piece the back too.
Use what you have left from the front and if you have more of the other colors you used you could make a long strip of color blocks to fill in the "missing space".
Here is how I handled the back for Em's Zebra quilt.

ohh backing in either Blue or Purple -- and use your leftovers for a scrappy border to tie it in :-) LOVE this batik quilt - very lovely design. Great job and good luck

Re: Need some backing suggestions
So pretty. I saw a quilt last night that had a striped backing with the colors from the front of the quilt, looked great.

Beautiful quilt. My preference would be a solid color for the backing so when you fold the quilt back on the bed, it will highlight the top. I am assuming that your using it on a bed but perhaps your not.
