MMM that pattern looks awfully familiar, the first quilt I made in quilting class, but it is set on point (I think I have the terminology right), I put 3 borders on mine.

Remember, people will see your quilts long after you are gone. . . Not your housework!!

wow Leonie that is beautiful and makes that pattern look totally different when put on point. I think the borders frame it perfectly, so I vote yes on borders

I love the pattern! Is that the one from an earlier post? Can't wait to see it finished.

I work to support a sewing habit that I don't have time for, because I work!
Leonie----I love that quilt! The colors are so sweet and set on point really changes the design! I know I am an odd duck when it comes to quilting.........I don't see it till it really starts coming together. I can't twist patterns in my head like I need to sometimes. I really love this design on point!
Sew Crazy for Quilts------I love your design and wish I had your talent to do a mock up in paint! I have to sew it together to see it come together and seeing what you did on the computer makes me think I should start using more graph paper to design patterns. I can't resist chocolate, but not sure what colors you were thinking of doing this in. I think it is a super looking quilt........love the added snowball blocks. Sometimes it is just a simple little thing that takes those squares to a whole new place! (Can you see why I don't design patterns?????)
Nice quilt. Snow balls and nine patches. And I never heard of Houzz until I saw your post. The things you learn.
It gives you great space to feature some quilting in the center squares.
