I am considering placing an order for some fabric from MSQC. Once again I'm in Canada so hope to place a big enough order to make it worthwhile.
In the yardage section....if I only want a half yard...how big is that exactly? That's two fat quarters, right?? Does anyone know how the points works if you only order a half yard?
I don't think they sell in half yard increments. A half yard is 18 inches by WOF (42 to 44" usually) so it is equal to 2 fat quarters.
I believe they sell the fabric by the 1/2 yard. Meaning the 1/2 cut is the smallest they sell. 1 is a yard, but for a half yard, you would put .5 in the amount.Quote:

Weird, the last time I tried ordering a yard and a half it wouldn't take it. Ended up just getting 2 yards instead.

In the past I 've tried to order less than 1 yard increments and haven't been successful. Maybe with the new site they've changed and now you can. Let us know.
I just ordered .5 yards of two different fabrics and it worked. Got them yesterday in the mail.
Last month I was able to order a half yard but it has to be more than 1 yard. So 1.5 for 1 1/2 yards for example. But not in 1/4 increments.

You can order .5 yard increments, I have ordered yet so I am unsure about how the points work.
