Beautiful blocks and fabrics! I believe I would border each of the blocks with a narrow strip of white fabric, maybe a 1/2" finished border. Then I would use black fabric sashing about 1.5"-2" wide. I think the blocks would be cleanly separated with the thin white border against the teal and at the same time the contrast of white next to the black sashing would really make it all pop as opposed to placing the black sash directly on the teal. Just an idea....I'm sure it will be gorgeous however you put it together!

I think black would set the rest of the fabric off just right! Wonderful Job!

Your blocks are wonderful and I love the fabrics you chose. I think black would compliment them beautifully. Can't wait to see it completed!

Love it; it is a good thing to face fear with a rotary cutter and determination. Great work!

(The same block, I might add, that I took to the sewing instructor, and we sure had some fun with that thread...)
Anyway, I've squared off the inner blocks and bordered maybe a third of the squares. I'm wondering how to finish off. I feel like the black is just screaming to come out. What do you think?

Beautiful blocks. Glad you conquered your fear. Your points are perfect. I think some black sashing would be nice.
