Ok....I'm slow *lmao*. Nope would never have guessed that was an added on border.....because I didn't even notice it the first time - I thought you were going to add a border and didn't have it on there yet.

It looks GREAT!!!! Now I need to go find something to do.

Lol nope. This was the original

P.s. I cheated and did a lazy meandering stitch because I didn't trust myself to echo the chevrons.....eek!

Reading the three pages of this post was fun... kind of like turning the pages in a book to see what you decided to do with your pretty chevron quilt. I too love the pink border... it really adds a lot to the original. I would agree with whoever recommended a smaller black border too. Great work... awesome! AND SOOOO much better than my own dilemma. I made a quilt for my bed... had it long arm quilted and then I bound it. ALL BEFORE I decided it was about one row too narrow. Too late now... so I just put the short side up against the wall. No one except MEEEE... knows what a mess I made. I scold myself every time I make the bed

I've done some quilt as you go methods and yours turned out Beautiful!! No-one will see that back seam after you quilt over it, and Huzzah for figuring out a way to extend it to look like it was Meant to be!

Yes, IF you wanted it bigger you could add a white and (or) a black border next but this really looks like you planned it all along. Great job

I really like the border. How about binding it with the black?

I would do it. Looks nice with the border. Frames up the prettiness of the chevrons.
