Default So I woke up today...and I'm ripping that binding stitching out. I hate it.

I can't give that as a gift I hate the way the binding (top stitch) came out.

If you must you must. Go slow so you have the finished result you want. I would have left it as is though.

Your like me , I wouldn't be happy until I made more work for myself and ripped it out and started over. But from the picture it looked ok but I know when it is starring you in the face you notice every little thing.
I bet once you re do you will be much happier with your work.I would say good luck but the second time around it will be just fine.

I didn't like the binding I did on a lap size quilt I made. Rather than rip it, I cut it off. The way it was made, I could. Your quilt is very small, so I don't think this is an option for you. Back to my quilt, I didn't have fabric to make a new binding, so I had to buy something I thought went with it, but it didn't really go so well.

I redid it. Really like it. IDK if it was a combination of the stitch I used and the time at which I was binding...but it came out MUCH better this morning.

I say YAY too! I was making a fleece blanket and was so frustrated that I cut it off too. It got too small that I had to cut another piece. Thank goodness it wasn't a quilt!

I like your quilt. But I understand about the ripping. Learned from my Grandma who said, "Correct the mistake as soon as you see it. The longer you wait the worse it gets."

I know the way you feel. I did that once and redid the binding.
