    Default Suggestions Needed

I just love those Jamestown quilts. They normally come in a kit or a BOM, but I want to do one without them. I have started the 23 log cabin blocks. What I don't know is what 12 blocks I should make for the non-log cabin blocks. My blocks will be 12 1/2 inch blocks. I notice that in these quilts, the other blocks are pretty complex, and they must be paper pieced. My log cabins are beige and greens. The blocks will be blues and purples. What complex (but do-able) blocks would you suggest? Here is a link to one of those quilts.

I don't have any suggestions, but here are a few sites that have squares that you might like and want to use. These two sites kept me entertained for quite a while.

Oh my goodness, that is just gorgeous! Now I have another one to get to "some day".

    Quilter's Rules:
#1 Buy fabric - no matter how much you already have.
#2 Sew all day and all night - no cooking allowed.
#3 Start a new quilt before the last one is finished - must return to #1.
