Meandering quilt....Question Please

I'm quilting that baby blanket.

I'm meandering on about a 1/2" scale.

I wonder if its going to be too firm if I do the whole blanket like this?

What else would go good w/meandering? Or should I just continue to do the whole quilt like that?

This is the first time I'm using warm and natural batting. I hope the blanket softens up after being washed.

I mixed 3 different FMQ's on the quilt for my MIL.........no set rules.

On a quilt for my DH I mixed embroidery, straight line quilting and stippling.

Do what feels the best to you. Remember there are no quilt police.

Just remember the closer the quilting the firmer the quilt. Do whatever you want, and makes you feel right about it.

It will soften up a bit when washed, but the closer the meandering the firmer the quilt. I rather like that, even for a baby quilt.
