I am thinking of buying this ruler but I have so many other rulers. Do you use your other ruler along with the this one. I only want to buy one so which one would be the best.

I just watched the video .... If you need a 5" strip can that be done.

I have the 18" one and you can certainly cut a 5" strip. It is the one I would buy again if something happened to this one. I use it every time I make a quilt. I am going to try to square up some blocks with it later today. I think it will work well to trim two sides at once and totally square.
Just like you do on any other ruler. Make sure you have your fabric folded on the straight of grain. I am sure you already do this, or you would have wonky strips now.Quote:

Men can spoil any shopping trip. I hate when my hubby comes with me. Lucky for me he hates shopping.
