I use masking tape (to tape down the layers flat and tight), safety pins (bent ones work best) and the Kiwk Klip to help fasten the pins. I am not so sure about the idea of using the spray... yet. I dont like the idea of cleaning up a sticky mess but recently bought a can of 505 spray, so am going to give it a try at some time. Below is a link for the kwik klip thingy.
