The one thing i have noticed is that as i've aged and collected and repeat, repeat... i sew less,,, so after having gotten the sewing area in better shape... it's about time to crank stuff out...
I was bad yesterday.. bought the DD, but like the line and after posting the thrifty use of a layer pack... and tempting so many others... i broke down and hit purchase...LOL
I AM though in a new mind set to "use up the fabric".. lots of scrappy quilts in mind.. and i've a whole wall to choose from instead of going shopping.. i bought all this fabric cause i like the colors,,, so now it's time to put them together...
My kids know the value and will probably find a senior center that has a strong quilting group and donate it..that would be my wish,,, either that or if by chance they know some needy family with a "sewer/crafter"... it will be a gift for them...
