I love them both! Is that a Michael Miller fabric? I have a cowboy print that looks so simular. Now you gave me an idea how to use it!

I think the black is too bold for a kid's blanket. I know, I don't know anything so I shouldn't say anything, but that JMHO. I like the orange solid border because it's bright and cheerful. I think if it were me, that I would change the black into something more kid friendly. JMHO.

I like the black with orange argyle fabric, but I wouldnt do the four patch. Just to make it a bit different. I like how it looks with the black border, it could use something extra but of course I dont know what it is exactly. Sorry about that.
Finished is way better than perfect!
I love it just the way it is!

Me,too, I like a,solid...I,find the argyle a bit busy with the print in the middle.. It doesn't seem to let the eye rest anywhere..sorry...just trying to be helpful!
Jeanne, don't worry!! We all get to toss out our thoughts -- they can take or leave them hehehe But it is nice we all chip in and see what we think -- helps creativity keep moving. I hadn't thought about how the black would be on a kids, it looked good but maybe for a Kids you are right?
