IDK If it's the pattern....or those tiny polkadots.
But ALL I see is a baby blanket.
Should I add more black? I have various black/red/white FQ's.
ETA: Sorry, this top needs to meet a hot iron.

Personally I don't see anything wrong with it. it is beautiful.
I don't either.. I would cuddle up underneath on my couch .. :D
Great Job.
I think it looks great. :)
I dont see baby at all, its great! What about adding the same orange color border then the same green border to tie it all in with the black? Idk but i think that would look nice
Sorry for the bad picture. That pink/orange part is actually Red with tiny white polkadots.
Don't see anything 'baby blanket' about it, and believe me I have seen plenty of baby quilts. I think it looks nice, and would be proud to curl up with it.
I don't see baby either.
Nope looks good to me! Sometimes after looking at a quilt for a long time while quilting it we tend to SEE more then what everyone else sees. It's not "fresh" anymore. Put it away for a couple of months or so where you wont be looking at it and then bring it back out. I promise you, you will feel so much different about it. I learned this from Greta Gramma's blog. She does the same thing and it does work. I've done it.
What makes you think it looks like a baby blanket? Is it the size? Because it doesn't look like a baby blanket. It's very pretty.
Nope...I don't see a baby blanket either. I like it.
Nope dont see a baby blanket there, I would cuddle with it for sure! :)
Really doesn't look like a baby blanket to me. Good job.
I don't see baby!
My teenage nieces would love it..
I'm not getting baby blanket in the least. Is it the size?
I ~think~ it is the size, I want to make it larger, but IDK what to do with it yet.
It's modern and elegant. I don't see baby either. Try walking away from it for a bit and then revisit it. You may just be too close.
One more element that can have a drastic effect is the quilting. If you use a neutral thread for your quilting (assuming you do FMQ) it will tone down the red fabric beneath and the focus will be on the quilting.
It is very pretty.
I would border with black or red all around. I think it may be the size? Make it a little larger.
It would look great on my dark green couch! love it!
I don't see baby blanket when I look at it. I like it.
