Help! Supposed to be a throw for the couch, and ALL I see is "baby blanket". What did I do wrong?

IDK If it's the pattern....or those tiny polkadots.

But ALL I see is a baby blanket.

Should I add more black? I have various black/red/white FQ's.

ETA: Sorry, this top needs to meet a hot iron.
