    Default Layer Cake patterns

I have 3 layer cakes screaming to be made into beautiful quilts. I have already made a Double Slice and was going to do that again but then I started thinking that maybe something different would be good to try.

Any suggestions? I ordered a book of Jelly Roll, Charm Packs and Layer Cake patterns from the library but there was nothing in there that I really liked or am good enough to do just yet.

I know you ladies and gents are a wealth of information so I thought I'd ask. I tried searching the internet but I'm not coming up with much.

    Thank you!!!

I'm having the same trouble with that one too. I have one layer cake where the images need to be left big. It was a dd transportation pack for my grandson.

If you Goggle images, so much comes up and there is usually a tut behind it. I'll be watching this thread

The Star & Chevron are both made from Layer Cakes. Look in tutorials.

Thinking you could do a D4P, but just on a larger scale.

Here is what looks like a simple one. Even though it isn't anything "fancy" , I really like it for some reason. I haven't tried it yet but I am hoping to make one with a layer cake that I have. I think it would be a good pattern for those particular times when you have a fabric that you want to stand out more than the quilt pattern.
