Iris Girl, that is really nice!
I also quite like the Simply Woven pattern on Moda Bake Shop...printed it out for my "someday" pile.
I made the Simply Woven from a few jelly rolls. It makes a pretty quilt and is easy too.

I'm happy to have come across this post. I am loving this woven look. The Moda tutorial makes it look easy. I've bookmarked it.
I Moda woven pattern is on my to do list .... up high on the list, I have the Jelly rolls, just need some time.

I made one mixing jelly roll and strips from my stash. Found out that the jelly roll was cut larger than 2.5" but by then all my blocks were sewn. It does mess up the matching points in places which is noticeable in the black background. But I still like it. When I first started, I had mapped out the layout on grid paper to correspond to the layout on the design wall. By the third row I no longer needed the map.
MartinaG that is beautiful and I can't wait for my fabric to arrive so I can work on this project.
I made that, I guess it is the same pattern. Made it for grandson's infant quilt. Quite the learning curve, but it looks great. Eleanor Burns also does one, but she cheats, using fusible.
Oh my gosh Martina & Carol... your quilts are beautiful!
