I need a teenagers opinion! Making this for Quilt for Kids and WOW it was a bit "too bright" when I first pieced it together, so I've been slashing and hacking and adding the deep blue to tone it down a bit... Suppose to be for desperate TEENS
What's the word now Cool? Groovy? Rad, Awesome or Horrible???

Sorry it is taking me this long to get back to you but I just got back from the post office. Do you have any idea how much it costs to ship three pre-teens to Arizona? The PO assured me they would all be teenagers by the time they get there.
Here in England I've heard them say things like "mint" or "well good" !! I think the way you've added the blue is very well good and very, very mint!!

Another term I have heard is "oh thats sick!"... I dont get that one. At all. So... I will just say that it is really cool! I still hear that too though :)

But please tell me, where did you buy that diamond print? I imagined precisely that fabric but couldn't find anything like it. (Ended up piecing little primary colored squares on point to create my own.) What a surprise to see exactly what I'd wanted -- but in YOUR quilt!
As the Mom of a teenager I believe the word is 'sweet', and applies here - love it!
SisterDi -- You should see that diamond print in a full outfit -- It is *put on the sunglasses at night* blinding!! LOL I've got too many yards to use up, so the kids are going to be seeing this in more of my quilts.

Do you have your mailing address in your PM user notes? I can Certainly cut you off 1/2 or full yard and send you some -- I have maybe 10-15 yards!! Got it when Walmart was selling fabric and all across the country picked up all they had on bolts, it's so bright and fun -- Would make a Great Jesters outfit too :-)Quote:

A full on 8 panel skirt I made AND matched every dang one of those angles (french seams) THEN got asked to make her a bodice -- So I did hehehe

I'm with you . . pack that 5th wheel and head out - tried to get the hubby to look at a new 5th wheel while we were out in AZ last Nov -- he's just not ready for a new one . . *ugh*~
