Fabric question

Thanks for the feed back! My daughter and I have made a few quilts over the past year-each one has been a learning experience. We taught ourselves thru reading quilting books and trial and error, we have pieced the backs together as per instructions in the very first book we read, it works great. Just this morning I noticed the "backing fabric" section at MSQC site and thought geeze have we been missing out on something that's out there in the quilting world.
