    Red face Quilting question

I have question. I am making a table runner. Its made out of the 10 minute block 2 wide by 5 long. I am putting a wide border on it to scallop. My question is what kind of quilting should I do on it? Was gonna stipple the body but not the center blocks as the roll back and are sewn down. but what do I do in the scallop area? Any ideas
    thanks

You don't say what your skill or comfort level are. but feathers would look great in a scallop! Also, you could echo the shape of the scallop 2-3 times, then fill the rest in with something else...straight lines from the edges to the center, stippling, other fill shape (Leah Day has many).

I taught myself using the book "Hooked on Feathers" by Sally Terry. She has a method that makes it very easy. Once you get a rhythm going, it is very easy! I enjoy doing them.

I have a 5-minute block runner pinned right now and I am planning to put feathers in the open areas. I'm not really good at FMQ yet so I plan to use a blending thread color and give myself a push to just do it.

FMQ is a challenge for me I like it and when you get in the groove it flows nicely. Not perfect but then again we are not machines so no perfection
