Default How to organize these fabrics for D4p?

I know I'm going to do dark light dark light for my 4 patches.

Should I really worry about mixing them up evenly....they are going to be d4p's after all?

I think since you aren't using solids like the tuts show it will just be nice and scrappy. I think it will be cute!

edit... I think doing the dark and light would be a good idea though for the contrast. I can't wait to see it because I love your color pallet and it's alway's fun to think out side of the box.

It looks like you are using charm squares. When I did my D9P, I thought it was just too busy when I went to put it together. I separated them into three columns surrounded by a small border and a major border. What I would suggest to you is that you use an accent fabric that you really like as the middle square. That will attract the eye so the top won't look so busy.
