And, given that I suffered greatly from the very thought of tree frogs, she found a small frog mold and made me a little green frog. I set the ceramic frog on my radio in my bedroom. When I would return from school the frog would be off the radio and on my dresser. I totally convinced myself that the frog was possessed and was hopping off the radio onto the top of my dresser.

One weekend I was in my bedroom cleaning and had the radio on . . .and the frog hopped off onto the dresser. Turns out that the radio reception caused enough vibration in the radio and the vibrations would cause the frog to 'hop' off.

So, no more 'possessed' frogs for me.

That's not why tree frogs bother me though. Regular frogs and toads? LOVE THEM!!!!
Ceramic frogs are the only ones I see around here lol There is a pond down at the bottom of the hill, so I would imagine there are some frogs down there (of the large, green variety of course) but I keep a ceramic frog on my front step. Not sure why, just saw him and thought he was cute Plus my house is green, so he kinda matches Can't say I've ever seen a tree frog, other than pictures.

I bought the fabric at a estate sale last year for practically nothing! You maybe could find some online. The company name on the selvage is The Cranston Collection.

Thanks for all the comments and frog stories from everyone!

Absolutely not. I use frogs and bugs and bees and worms and lizzards and all such things in my boy Linus quilts.

Lol, that reminded me of how I used to catch frogs at my grandparents house in the summertime, and put them in a coffee can (let them go of course later) and it took me a long time to realize that "frogs dont actually smell like coffee"! (smart I know)

But like everyone else has said, the frogs are great and so much fun! I cant wait to see what you make
Finished is way better than perfect!

I don't think they're scary at all, little boys especially would love this.
