I love frogs too!
Frog story--in the early 90's DH and I dug a small decorative pond in our back yard. It took a while to get it finished, but once we got it all tricked out with a little waterfall, our own version of a filter (this was pre "pondmania" days!), and a bunch of gold fish, we captured some tadpoles and threw them in. Well, they quickly metamorphosed into full size green frogs, and sang their hearts out every night. Our bedroom was in the front of the house, so we didn't hear the nightly chorus, but our daughter's bedroom was right next to the pond! She complained bitterly about the noise that went on all night long! One day, we heard a tree frog chirping near her room. It was early morning, but the sound was really close to her bed! A tiny tree frong, not 1" long had worked its way into her window casing and was sitting on top of the window pane chirping his brains out! What a surprise to see him inside the room! I could then see why she was complaining!
Did you know that frogs are fast disappearing in the wild, and some day we won't have them? Cherish them while they are still here for us to admire and listen to!
And they are so cute on quilts!
Okay, I have to tell my good frog story. My mother opened a ceramic shop when I was about 13-14 years old. And, given that I suffered greatly from the very thought of tree frogs, she found a small frog mold and made me a little green frog. I set the ceramic frog on my radio in my bedroom. When I would return from school the frog would be off the radio and on my dresser. I totally convinced myself that the frog was possessed and was hopping off the radio onto the top of my dresser.
One weekend I was in my bedroom cleaning and had the radio on . . .and the frog hopped off onto the dresser. Turns out that the radio reception caused enough vibration in the radio and the vibrations would cause the frog to 'hop' off.
So, no more 'possessed' frogs for me.
That's not why tree frogs bother me though. Regular frogs and toads? LOVE THEM!!!!
Be warned. I am BORED.
This could be dangerous.
When you get cold just go stand in the corner.
They are usually 90 degrees.
A giraffe's coffee would be cold by the time it reached the bottom of his throat.
Ever think about that? No? You only think about yourself??

I think the frogs are great! I don't think they are scary. I even asked my four boys ranging in age from 6 to 13.
Cut those frogs into circles! I'm collecting animals for COC and for Marilyn's NICU/PICU. Kids love frogs, especially little boys! The slimier the better. lol![]()
