Layer Cake + Jelly Roll Quilt

Isn't that always the way...I have a jelly roll and a layer cake that I bought last year just for this pattern and they are still in their original packaging....haven't gotten to it yet...sure do want to though...just too much going on right now...I am just as busy now as I was last month....this is just crazy!

I can't wait to make this pattern. Would love to see yours! I need inspiration.

Yours is a little different than the video. Did you put a strip between a cut apart layer cake rather than two strips around half a layer cake and then one at the bottom?
