I have one, tried to use it a couple of times but not very successfully, I now know another way to put the binding on that is so much easier that I wont use mine again except for making a friendship braid which is on my to do list to.
I have one and don't like it at all. I thought it would be a big help but I like my method better. Easier and no tool. I do want to make a friendship braid however.
I ordered one after watching the video. Can't wait to try it.
There is a new tut by Jenny on making a table runner using the binding tool as the template and not just for the binding!
Eliza I use the exact same video for my binding....Love it! I own the binding tool and have used it, but my problem is I like to make wider bindings and start out with a 3" strip of fabric or wider. I found the binding tool harder to use with strips wider than 2.5" or for smaller projects. When I found Marci Baker's Youtube video it immediately made sense to me and works perfectly every time, no matter what size binding or project I am working on! All I need is my hands and a straight pin!
I do plan on using my binding tool as a template for cutting fabric pieces one of these days though! :)
