When I'm trying my hardest to sew something correctly, and it's going pretty well, and I'm feeling good when I've got about an inch more to go....how does my thread know that exact moment to frazzle or break or other wise just not cooperate?

I suspect you may need a small drinkie. It won't mend the thread but it might make it breaking less annoying? I ran out of thread with an inch to go at 9pm Christmas Eve! I had a large drinkie on that occasion.
I don't know how it knows.......but it does!! It will frazzle or break or the bobbin will run out of thread! The chances of this happening are in direction proportion to how excited you are that the project is almost complete! Been there and done that!![]()
You all need to read my last post titled OH NO!!
No drinkie necessary - just keep my sippy cup full.
Be warned. I am BORED.
This could be dangerous.
When you get cold just go stand in the corner.
They are usually 90 degrees.
A giraffe's coffee would be cold by the time it reached the bottom of his throat.
Ever think about that? No? You only think about yourself??
What a good idea! You've been so helpful.
A drink fixes everything! Cheers, clink clink, bottoms up!
What do you do if you don't drink; times like that I am tempted but I really don't much care for alcohol....always start the hangover with the first sip, within an hour I will have an obnoxious headache!
I'm thinking chocolate for you!
Lol! Although I am new to quilting I SOOOOO share your pain! Drinking or chocolate def. Helps!
