    Default BOM 2013

Anyone interested in participating in a FREE block of the month? Sulky has one going for this year and it's adoreable. They also have the previous years' boms still on the website for free so go take a look.

Wow that is so cute....... I have never done any needle turn embroidery, I guess it is a good way of starting and I need something to do whilst I am sitting down and relaxing at night, so I will give it a go ....

That is really cute...but sadly out of my league I think. I've done cross stitch and understand the very basics of applique, but not sure I really understand what you're supposed to do there? Like are you supposed to copy that very block? Like the images? I don't understand. :'(

Hmm, seems a little daunting to me at this point... Aww heck, who am I kidding? I love a challenge! lol Bookmarked to try soon

And Wendy, you just use the pattern attached (click on the little floppy disk) and make one (or two) block(s) a month until you've created the beautiful little wall hanging that's pictured Fabric choices are totally up to you, just follow the same pattern

Ok..so I clicked on the little disc that opens the manual. It shows me the block diagram (1a, 1b etc.) and tells me what to buy and what kinds of odds and bobs to look for....so should I assume that the instructions for each block will follow? Or do I just try and copy them as I see them in the picture?? Cause if that's true, then someone's gonna hafta hold my handies on this one! Care to volunteer?!?

Ok duh...I just read the instructions. I'm not sure I'm patient enough to wait for the instructions though!! LOL! I think it's really cute...doesn't go anywhere in my house tho....but I'm still gonna make it I think. Just wish we'd scoot ahead!
